QA Tester

About the role

Plan and run functional and regression tests and work with developers to close defects. This is a full-time position (Arlington, VA-Remote) for experienced professionals who can work independently and guide others.

Key responsibilities

• Understand requirements and write clear test cases
• Run manual and automated tests and log defects with steps to reproduce
• Verify fixes and run regression checks before each release
• Work with developers and product owners to improve quality
• Keep test documentation and test data organised

What we are looking for

• 2-4 years of relevant hands-on experience
• Knowledge of testing concepts and the bug life cycle
• Experience with a bug tracker such as JIRA
• Basic understanding of SQL, APIs or test automation tools is a plus
• Careful, curious and detail-oriented
