AI / ML Engineer Trainee

About the role

Train and test machine-learning models with guidance from senior engineers. This is a full-time position (Arlington, VA-Remote) for freshers and early-career candidates who are ready to learn quickly.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare, clean and label data for machine-learning projects
• Train, evaluate and tune models, and document the results
• Turn working models into APIs or features with the engineering team
• Monitor model performance and retrain when quality drops
• Share findings with non-technical teammates in plain language

What we are looking for

• A degree or diploma in a relevant field, or equivalent self-learning and projects
• Good Python skills and understanding of ML basics
• Familiarity with libraries such as scikit-learn, TensorFlow or PyTorch
• Comfort with statistics and working with data
• Clear communication and curiosity to keep learning
